      Epiphytic plant, miniature.
       Many minutely warty roots.
        Short stem, 1 cm.
        Few leaves, 1 or 2, obliquely elliptic, acute, being able to reach 7 cm long for 2,5 cm wide. The base of the leaves is persistent and punctuated of purple.
      Short Inflorescence of 7/8 cm.
        Bracts ovate.
        Sepal dorsal oblong-elliptic, obtuse, equal in size to lateral sepals which are obliquely elliptic and obtuse. Spatulate petals, obtuse, less long than sepals.
        Lip 3-lobed with a spur suspicion. Lateral lobes oblong, obliquely truncated. Midlobe oblong, obtuse, tapering. Spur rather similar to a nipple of 1,5 mm. Disc provided of two superimposed callus . The posterior one fleshy, bifide. It finishes at the base of the midlobe. The flattened former callus, bifide, is well extended beyond the base of the midlobe.
      Strong column, widened around stigma.
      Pedicellate ovary from 1,6 to 2,2 cm long.
 
 
Observations
 
     Plant from altitude (2000 m)
      From three to six flowers of 3 cm. Sepals and petals pink with suffusions of pale green. Constant pink Labelle.
Often confused in culture with Phalaenopsis wilsonii, name under which it was largely exported of China. It is also found under the names of Phalaenopsis hainanensis and stobartiana.
